How too get GSkill ram not to show in RGB fusion -įirst, make sure RGB Fusion is not running, exit the software and check your task manager for RGBFusion.exe and KillCheck.exe and make sure they are not running. Ok, that's enough complaining, I would be here all day. Now in RGB Fusion you can not tell it to leave a part alone, so you can just run the factory default or have another software control it. The default is much better and smoother, with the GSkill lighting software, it is also very nice across all patterns. It will have a small pause when the light patterns ends and restarts. But if RGB Fusion controls it, it looks like garbage. The RGB default lighting on my GSkill Trident z Royal is very nice. RGB fusion will take a very long time to start up and sometimes crash on start up and freeze PC in start up and will have too hard power off and power back on to recover PC. It is not installed on there, nor is it RGB or anything, just a 8T Seagate for large storage. When I start RGB fusion, I can hear it spin up my HDD drive for no reason. When my Logitech wireless keyboard/headphones disconnect to go into standby, the same issue will happen. It will also crash the lighting on my Thermaltake software for my fans and aio. If this happens when I am playing a PC game or full screen video, it will crash the game or video. If I connect or disconnect a USB device, RGB Fusion will stop working and restart. Problems I and having with RGB Fusion at current (Z390 Ultra, Aorus 2080ti extreme, GSkill Trident Royal, Thermaltake fans and aio)

Uninstalling it from my PC always gives me a much better experience and more stable PC. RGB Fusion has become a non stop nightmare. Now this could also be that my personal PC is all gigabyte parts and have to deal with it everyday but all the PC's that I do build for other people with other brand parts have never said anything or complained, and using them and setting them up for users is mostly trouble free.

The biggest problem is that all the part vendors have all done there own thing for LED/RGB, and Gigabyte's RGB Fusion 2.0 would have to be the worst I have dealt with out of all of them. This is great for people out there looking for this look in there PC. I have been pretty happy with there parts over the years, and would recommend them to people, put there parts in PC builds I would do with confidence that the part would not die and work well for the life of the PC.īut, over the past couple years now and the push for LED lighting in PC's has grown large and now your hard pressed not to buy a part with LED/RGB as a main part/selling point for PC parts today. I have been buying Gigabyte parts for many many years now.
